Way back in 1996, I created my first personal homepage using HotDog Pro and some HTML. I eventually moved it to GeoCities before they were acquired by Yahoo. I learned: - Well designed homepages should express the owner's interests through creative presentation.
- Times have changed.
- Search engine portals combined with social networking websites allow people to say "google me" rather than "here's my homepage address."
The global village feels local using walled gardens. Of course, our privacy disappears but we can maintain relationships that proved impossible when postal mail, telephones and face to face visits reigned supreme. Welcome to my updated homepage!
